What is an Accredited Practicing Dietitian?
An Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) is a University qualified nutrition professional who undertakes ongoing training and education to make sure she is your most up-to-date and credible source of nutrition information. APDs are the most qualified professionals to provide practical dietary advice on all nutrition-related matters, from healthy eating and disease prevention to the treatment of conditions such as diabetes, heart disease, gastrointestinal disorders and food allergy. APD is the only national credential recognised by the Australian Government and Medicare.
